- Donkeys? Mongol Rally? Every year you come out for with a different story, what is it about, now?
- Let me explain you. The Mongol Rally is a charitable race of more than 13.000 km of tour, with cars of less than 1000 cc. engine, and The Donkeys is one of 300 teams that will participate this year. A race with multiple exits, free route, without support to the participants, in which the the first team which reaches the goal does not win, where the 30 % of the strong racing drivers scarcely arrive, and whose purpose is to collect money to help poor communities in Mongolia? No, I don’t know anything about it!

The aim of the race is not that any lucky Europeans lose their life in the way, but to collect funds destined for different organizations that work in humanitarian projects at Mongolia. Check this section to know what entities will be the beneficiaries.

If you want to help our donkey to arrive with 1500 Euros in his saddle-bags to the Mongolian children, it’s quite easy. You can collaborate from two Euros onwards, they will be grateful for it, and in recognition we will stamp your name on the bodywork of the car.

Supporter's List (name and city) that have collaborated with the donation (it goes complete to the NGOs in Mongolia) or with the preparations of the car, the web, the equipment, etc. If you want to take part, you can find how in the paragraph Donations, we assure you that Mongolian children will be very grateful for it.

The exit is simultaneous from London, Madrid and Milan, with a point of control in Prague. From there, all the teams depart with destination Ulanbaatar along some of the four routes suggested by the organization; likewise, every team, under the cover of these offers, plans its itinerary, chooses its detours, organizes the stops and avoids the difficulties that its own decisions cause.

This long and hard voyage through a so varied and beautiful area is the best oportunity to pay a tribute to an animal which has had to suffer many misfortunes. With luck, we will even be able to relate our Spanish donkey with the different species of donkeys that inhabit those lands. At least, we will show his virtues in those places, with the best of our smiles.
